@SAWYNNE1 It may be the press just won’t cover her. My mother was Mexican and I’ve lived in villages in some of these countries, MX, Guatemala, Colombia & visited many others. The problems have been morphing. I would just like to see a more in-depth analysis of the issues presented to all of us. When there was an immigration wave in the last administration, they were clearly Indigenous people who were leaving traditional homelands after millennia of abuse. Thanks.

I'm not saying there are a lot of viral infections going around right now, but when the NY Times feels the need to publish a list of symptoms so you can figure out which of four illnesses you have, that might be saying something.
The rate of COVID positive testing is at its highest point in three months in the US. The US rate of flu hospitalization is up 50 to 100% in the past two weeks across all age groups. Masks on to protect yourself and your family this holiday season!
@augieray I am reminded of the Firesign Theater’s skit “Beat the Reaper”. Prescient. https://youtu.be/D3zZ_ih0Jpc “Are you ready for Symptom Number 7?” This doesn’t include the followup where he tries to get a taxi.

@SAWYNNE1 I wish she’d speak up about the problems in Central and South America that are fueling increased migrations. Nicaragua, for example, is apparently inviting Russian troops there and jailing/ killing people Ortega considers dangerous, which can be anyone.https://abcnews.go.com/International/wireStory/relatives-fear-lives-jailed-nicaraguan-opponents-91647618
