I always forget AO3 technically also hosts meta, but here’s an essay on defeating “commenter’s block”, a sin I am absolutely guilty of.
It also has a link to this extremely cool script which kind of fakes inline comments for AO3, and is almost exactly how I would write a similar script if I knew how to (which I do not).
Anyway, huge shout-out to anyone out there who’s ever left a comment, no matter how brief, on a fic. You are the true MVPs.
I finally finished my vamp!Eddie/Steve-Gets-Vecna'd fic! It's 150k and took me over a year to write. I'm really proud of how it turned out. Hope you enjoy!

Another large corner of the web that has thankfully begun rebelling against corporate abuse: wikis.
#Fandom (a large, for-profit wiki platform) has gotten aggressive over the past few years pushing intrusive ads, awful AI garbage content, and recently allowing companies to completely take over and rewrite wikis for fucking marketing stunts (see: McDonalds Grimace shake, covered in this video).
