Donations were covering expenses for a while, but they've dropped off in recent months.

We don't federate with baraag.
We regularly get people applying for accounts on blorbo.social, stating that their reason for applying is so that they can have access to baraag.
We just reject those applications.
Why do people keep assuming that they can get access to baraag through us?

We're starting to update all customer instances.
Recent additions to the types of applications we reject:
- person wants to join because they think we're federated with baraag (we're not)
- application looks like it was generated by AI

an example is @oldmanyaoi . everyone that follows this guppe group loves yaoi with old guys and thats basically all that's talked about and shared! but there are TONS of other guppes for others interests like crochet, painting, film, music... the sky is the limit! π΄β₯οΈπ§
if there's not already a group for your niche, you can make one very easily! in a post, just @ β@yourgroupnamehere @ a.gup.peβ (no spaces) with whatever you want to name your group. if you build it, they will come

1. set up a hashtag relay to see MORE content showing up in your hashtag. let's say theres a specific fandom you're into, but the hashtag you follow isn't picking up much. if you follow the quick & easy steps in this post, you'll see it all! ποΈ
