There’s four types of clients: Pink Mohawks, Black Trenchcoats, Corpo Suits, and Mirrorshades (yes, I like #cyberpunk, how did you know?). Depending on which host you pick when you start play, the clientele (aka - your deck) will change.
By planning out combos in each area during a night, you can generate new cards — including unique, named characters who have special effects when played!
We're shipping three #indiegames this March (Null State, Another Round, & One Last Job), all set in the same homegrown #cyberpunk universe. Demos will be available in the February #nextfest - wishlist and follow on Steam to be notified when they're available!
Each crew member has an archetype (a trait + a background), some perks and some quirks. If you’ve ever played #tricubetales, this will sound familiar! All of the data needed to generate crew comes in datapacks (included with the game, or make your own!).
Job difficulty changes depending on your crew's traits, backgrounds, perks, and quirks. You need to make sure to send a crew that’s suited for each job, or you’re setting them up for failure — so build the right crew for each job!
In Null State, you are a hacker — a rarity in a world nearly destroyed during a mysterious, cascading global systems failure. Prowl through networks node by node, disabling their security as you uncover what caused Obsidian Wednesday.

Another image from back when I was shooting on my 4x5 field camera. I saw the snowstorm approaching, so I set the camera up as the snow passed through.
By the time it had passed to reveal just the front trees, I had time for a couple of sheets of film before the magic was lost. Provia 100, with a bit of colour correction.
