I am running a Dual Core, 4GB 2014 Mac Mini as my writing and music machine!
Replaced the HDD with SSD and added an NVME for the OS.
NixOS with Niri is FLYING on it! So fast! I am mightily impressed. Currently sitting on idle with 1% cpu and 900MB (24%) ram whilst syncing NextCloud and playing Music.
In 2026 you really CAN breath new life into old tech!
