1 January 1926 | A Polish Jew, Leon Weintraub, was born in Łódź.

In Auschwitz from August 1944.
He was transferred to Groß-Rosen, Flossenbürg and Natzweiler-Struthof camps.

He was liberated on 23 April 1945 near Donaueschingen.

He become a doctor.
Today he turns 97.
Happy birthday!

@uspolitics If trump forms his own political party this can cascade into 2 things, 1) helps Democrats by splitting GOP voters and they will split, 2) and more importantly the end of Republican Party as we know it.

@mog7546 trump’s business practice is more like a Ponzi Scheme. He takes out a loans, then he takes out another loan to pay the first loan, then he takes out a 3rd loan to pay off the 2nd loan and this practice just continues and continues. We also know that he inflates the value of properties purchased by the loans to get more loans but on tax returns under values the same properties to the point of being losses.

Didn’t under stand why this was not reported more. Trump’s involvement with Russia didn’t start with the presidential campaign of 2016. Maybe his involvement started in 1987, with his first trip to Moscow!

Short rant.

Southwest Air has cancelled ~70% of its flights in an epic meltdown this holiday season.

Remember, Southwest took $3.7B in federal aid from 2020-21.

It’s CEO got a pay raise to a $9.1M package in 2022.

Yet Southwest employees are working 16 hour shifts & threatened w/termination if they refuse overtime or call in sick.

Socialism for the wealthy. Capitalism for workers.

Stop trusting billionaires. Start holding them accountable. And start protecting workers.
