You can lead a horse to water, but it’s pretty crowded there because of all those men you taught to fish in that other proverb.
@penaddict Greetings from Shelbyville, Tennessee, home of Musgrave!
I can almost always tell if a movie doesn't use real dinosaurs.
@DrakkenZero Same here. I immediately messaged one of my brothers who's an MST3K fan but had not been part of the Kickstarter.
@MikeElgan Have you heard the story behind sea monkeys? It's quite bizarre .... https://www.mentalfloss.com/article/642405/sea-monkeys-history
A Brief History of Sea-Monkeys | Mental Floss

You probably had Sea-Monkeys as a kid without knowing what they were or where they came from. The short version? Sea-Monkeys were a get-rich-quick scheme that actually got someone rich quick—but the long version is worth sticking around for.

I have been enjoying my first batch of fermented sauerkraut and was already thinking that I might try adding some heat to the next one. Just now, I ran across this, which is verry similar to what I had in my head: https://ourlittlehomestead.org/wprm_print/617
Spicy Sauerkraut Fermenting Recipe - Our Little Homestead

Just made $8 worth of ricotta from milk that was soon to sour. I keep my fridge cold, so the milk is already 8 days past “best by”!

So, that’s $3.25 of whole milk that was going bad & now I have ricotta for 8 or so days. Just takes 10 min & 120ml of vinegar.

SO EASY!

Search for a video.

The method is crazy simple.

And don’t throw out the whey! Use it in baking and cooking! I’m using 1 cup in my chicken curry tomorrow, instead of water. I make my #sourdough with it too! #food #cooking
