@overcastfm I'm running into an issue today where the app will not go to the next episode in a Playlist when the previous one ends.
@RecDiffs first saw the self-scanning thing in a Swedish grocery store in 2013 but I've never seen anyone use one there across 5 vacations. We had it in 1 store in by my home (Orange County, CA) for ~6 months and I used it but nobody else seemed to and eventually they were just left inoperable on the rack near the front of the store for a couple months until they were finally removed.

@hotdogsladies I'm pretty sure I added the sdi text expansion based on you mentioning it years ago.

Getting the é on my last name was a real annoyance without the text expansion.

@hotdogsladies Might be too baseball focused for your taste, but he has a fun podcast with sportswriter Joe Posnanski. They cover a lot of ground beyond sports and it's generally as loose as your show with Roderick.

The PosCast with Joe Posnanski & Michael Schur | Joe Posnanski | Substack

A sort of sports show but not really. Filled with meaninglessness. Hosted by Joe Posnanski and Michael Schur. joeposnanski.substack.com

@tvaziri Meanwhile, I replied to someone who said it was all practical sets and said they used CG as well and got multiple replies arguing with me including one with a video about the sets that shows blue screens.
@tvaziri Do I have to have seen Juror #1 to be able to enjoy Juror #2?
@codinghorror @hotdogsladies I am compelled to suggest "The Boy Who was Raised as a Dog" whenever "The Body Keeps the Score" is referenced. Similar territory.
@hotdogsladies this but for suddenly vs "all of a sudden."
@hotdogsladies this seems like it might be the way to get his bluesky posts to appear here.

@hotdogsladies I've never heard him say it but I can already hear it in my mind.
