The website doesn't have a word about #grapheneos, #obtainium, or #accrescent yet lists every possible insecure device and rom, and presents #fdroid (with well-known serious security issues of its own) as if it were the only option for installing apps?

Either the people behind the website are woefully unqualified to make recommendations or they have an agenda not much more in the interest of users than Google's.

Unacceptable. And suspicious timing.

To be candid, a day on #UpScrolled is the most I can remember ever enjoying social media aside from my own live stream.

Part of that is because I have an anon account for Google Play which is sandboxed in #GrapheneOS as well as sitting in an auto-locking private space.

Even the shitposting had character and true diversity. I'm not seeing people using it for lame advertising and boring bots and boosting influencers. Sure, maybe that'll come, but maybe live streaming or federation will, too.

My single favorite televised (late) night of the year used to be this season when Dave and Jay would throw footballs at the tree trying to knock the meatball off of the pizza on top.

Those nights are over and any talk of a war on Xmas that doesn't mention it is empty rhetoric.

You know you can embed the #owncast #streaming video player and chat interface into your web site, right?

Also, you can make it so when somebody says "TO BILL BRASKY!!" in chat, you can make the system reply "He's a 10 foot-tall beast-man who showers in vodka and feeds his baby shrimp scampi."
