so a group of russian queer activists residing in germany opened an official petition to the bundestag to help trans people from russia easily flee to germany. it's not some change org shit, it's literally on bundestag's website.

I’d like to be more enthusiastic about the #COP28 #climate summit. It’s good that nations provide funding & global leaders & experts discuss climate targets.

BUT we see the commitments made - over & over - fall short. Collectively we could be & should be doing more.

As the old saying goes, actions speak louder than words. And there’s too little action.

You know, we don't thank our #weather people, #meteorologists, and #climate scientists enough. They perform important work every day, and I wish we had a notable national or global holiday to celebrate them and thank them for their tireless work. Stories like this pain me to read, I hope we all can take a moment and be grateful for climate #science and the people behind it.
