‼️⚡The Kunming-Montreal Global Diversity Framework has been gavelled into existence this morning (according to reports against the resistance of some African states).

It's a huge step forward in commitment to protecting nature - but it's not legally binding and therefore decisive progress to 2030 - only 7 years away - will require lots of public pressure.
