No LAMP stack needed when CAT STACK IS SUPERIOR!
People grumbling that #Mastodon is slow at the moment... You just turned up with 1 million people in a tiny, rural village and you're complaining there's a queue to get into the only tearoom, which is run by gay pensioners Babs & Maureen as a retirement hobby on Mons-Weds. Relax!

Happy #LifeDay to all who celebrate! 44 years ago, The #StarWars #HolidaySpecial aired on #CBS & introduced us to a HOST of new characters (like #Chewbacca ‘s family), was our first look at the #Wookiee home world #Kashyyyk , and was our first onscreen introduction to #BobaFett . Plus, #BeaArthur plays a sassy #Tatooine #bartender !

Here's another bridge for #ThrowbackThursday! The small Saber-Class USS Yeager.

I've tinkered with this one a lot over the years since first "finishing" it, adding details like the wood texture on the handrails and the more colorful LCARS, I think in the end I managed to get the room a nice mix of contrasting colors.

Tadeo D'Oria - Online Portfolio - USS Yeager Bridge

The USS Yeager NCC-61947 was a Saber-Class starship we saw in the feature film 'Star Trek: First Contact' as a background ship. We never saw much of the Saber-Class after that, other than some unnamed background appearances. This is my conjectural take on how its bridge looked like during the events of the movie, in 2373. Given the compact exterior of the ship and the unofficial crew complement of only 40 people, I went with a very small bridge, while still being state-of-the-art for the era the ship appeared in. Created entirely using Free and Open Source Software (Blender and Inkscape) on Ubuntu Linux.

FRIEND: It's called cauliflower. It's not ghost broccoli.

ME: [taking a long drag on my cigarette] Listen kid, I know what I saw.
