On the basis of a leaked draft, @politico-europe-POLITICOEurope is reporting that the @EUCommission will propose ‘welfare standards’ for fur farmed animals, rather than introduce a ban.
This decision completely flies in the face of #animalwelfare science and public opinion. Remember that 1.5 million citizens signed the #FurFreeEurope #ECI demanding a ban on fur farming.

@jon no idea. It is the sheer lack of information & communication with passengers that is pissing me off the most.
And losing another huge chunk out of my day, after it already took 9 hours to get from Amsterdam to Hannover yesterday.
This trip reminds me why I always travel to Strasbourg via Paris & not via Germany. DB is just too unreliable.

Spent past 9 hours on nightmare journey to Berlin & won’t make it further than Hannover tonight. Direct 15.59 train from A’dam was cancelled with no customer notification. Then sent from pillar to post, even involving cross-border replacement bus that turned up 30 mins late with all its knock-on consequences…
Any advice re. compensation? Lost hotel night Berlin & unplanned night in Hannover.
