Hey @jon, what’s the most effective way to complain to Deutsche Bahn?

Spent past 9 hours on nightmare journey to Berlin & won’t make it further than Hannover tonight. Direct 15.59 train from A’dam was cancelled with no customer notification. Then sent from pillar to post, even involving cross-border replacement bus that turned up 30 mins late with all its knock-on consequences…

Any advice re. compensation? Lost hotel night Berlin & unplanned night in Hannover.

@jon cheers, Jon. I booked with NS, so I guess they’ll have to sort it.

It is 10:15 & my 9:22 train from Hannover to Berlin still hasn’t left, so my patience with DB has long expired…

@joswabe yes start with NS then. What’s wrong - why is it such chaos? Hannover - Berlin normally isn’t too bad!

@jon no idea. It is the sheer lack of information & communication with passengers that is pissing me off the most.

And losing another huge chunk out of my day, after it already took 9 hours to get from Amsterdam to Hannover yesterday.

This trip reminds me why I always travel to Strasbourg via Paris & not via Germany. DB is just too unreliable.
