Just finished dinner at our campsite at Newhalem Campground at the North Cascades National Park. I'm glad we were eating inside because my pups started growling and barking. The next thing I know, there's a brown bear and her very small cub at the edge of our campsite. Janet got these photos as they departed. You can just about see the cub in the second shot.
So yeah, my two 8-pound dogs scared off a mama bear and her cub.
