They’re on my side…
It's hard not to filter everything through my recent heart episode. I avoid words like blessed, lucky, or fortunate; now I find myself extra sensitive to them. I keep thinking of the man who died in same ER the day after I did under similar circumstances.
Made my first #lowsodium hot dish/casserole yesterday. I think even #minnesotans would’ve said, wow, that’s bland. Good think my new spice blends arrived yesterday to salvage my next culinary attempts.

A struggle I continue to have with declining churches…#church people get angry that other people don’t come to church—they believe they are entitled to people’s lives. Nope.

#painting a bedroom in my house this holiday weekend. One more day. I think I’d rather go to the dentist. But I don’t fix things, and I can paint. So I do it when it’s needed. Looking forward to getting the basement back to normal after a small flood. Fourteen weeks of stonewalling from our #Insurance company and about 16 weeks to get back to normal. #ugh
Had a lot of fun at the #mankato #curling club #golf ā€œtournamentā€ yesterday. The event affirmed what I have observed about the curling community: it’s the fun kind of competitive, but also a no judgment zone. It was a great way to spend a late summer day, make new people connections, and copiously laugh. I’m looking forward to the new season in less than 3 months!
