The really nice waterfront ice skating rink has announced they will permanently close.
Sucks.
Here's a video I shot from just under a year ago. I recall it was about -10c or so but it was clear and sunny and we got treated to an amazing sunset.
I'll miss that spot.
Saw this TT earlier and was amused by it.
When considering sharing it I was reminded of the time in the group chat where I was typing out the lyrics to Afrikan Boy's song Lidl and my pal earnestly offered to buy me some food.
You don't have to worry. I take metamucil now and am clockwork regular.

Today's Ride: The regular, like Metamucil. Through the city then to the tip of the spit with a return route along the waterfront. Nice to see the spit still getting a healthy amount of visitors during the winter months. Easier bird watching I guess? Those that stick around can't hide in leaves?
TGIF. We made it, friends.
Today's ride: Another mild winter day, weather wise. Didn't hit the spit or cross the Don River so headed out to the Humber River and Sheldon Lookout instead. No sign of him. But he did unveil a new art installation.
Today's ride: Mild winter weather ride. The usual ride. Out to the tip of the spit and back but I threw on a Humber River visit since I was having a good time. Riding this time of year I find I nod and wave to other cyclists more since there are fewer of us out there. I like that.

Today's Ride:
Had to cut it short out on the Leslie St Spit. Visibility was super sketchy. Pitch black, mist and fog. Eyeglasses covered in water droplets reflecting the light from my headlamp. Will try again with a different set up. Cap with a brim might do the trick or just bike mounted lighting. Pretty intense experience though. So many bunny eyes darting about and the sound of invisible crashing waves.
