It’s a song about sleeping in, avoiding the nine-to-five, and owning exactly one tie. With bubbling synthesisers, jangly guitars, and sweet harmonies, “Mid-Morning Guy” follows someone living at a slightly slower pace, who is mostly okay with that, until a passing smile briefly suggests the possibility of self-improvement.

Hi. I'm releasing an album on 8 May. It's called, "A Cufflink-Wearing Guy".

You can listen to the opening track, "Sunflowers", over at bandcamp today. It's a story of a flower seller at the markets and the fleeting connections we make in life that we hope may blossom. The song sports some jangly guitars, pianos, and a Motown beat.

Hello Mastodon, I've been absent and thought I'd re-introduce myself. I write songs and am living in Western Australia. I work a job to pay the bills, but songwriting is my first love.

Today I put a couple of new songs on the internet.

The first is called "Sleepyhead" and is about the dogs, the internet, and the general drudgery of mid-life. It's a little melancholy, a little sweet, and a bit of a ballad.

The second is called "Cruel" and is about the course of a relationship and is very upbeat and jangly.
