One of the main drivers of improvement in my #naturephotography has been patience. Especially in 2018, I was all about go-go-go, eschewing the tripod for handheld and "spray and pray." Learning to slow down and take a more contemplative approach really provided a huge leap forward in the quality of my work.

Each of these #landscapephotos from #brycecanyon represents that philosophy, waiting for the light to hit the landscape just so.

I'm excited to be here, Instagram has been going downhill for some time, and I've heard this is a better community to engage with.

I primarily focus on Western Canada, and the Arctic, including Alaska. I am passionate about putting myself in remote wilderness, engaging and connecting with the landscape.
