CAMBRIDGE
Cambridge For Palestine gave a questionnaire to this year's City Council candidates. Based on the responses, they've endorsed Ayah Al-Zubi for a #1 vote. (They also recommend ranking LaQueen Battle, Jivan Sobrinho-Wheeler, Stan Rivkin, & Sumbul Siddiqui in any order.)
Al-Zubi is a passionate advocate for Palestinian rights, who bravely came out for a ceasefire as a first-time candidate in 2023, before anyone else in the race.

SOMERVILLE
Somerville for Palestine endorses Willie Burnley, Jr. for Mayor, and a Yes vote on Question 3, which would instruct the city to divest from businesses that sustain Israel’s enactment of apartheid, genocide, and occupation of Palestine.
Importantly, Question 3 is a non-binding resolution. Burnley, Jr. is a stalwart defender of Palestinian freedom, who has spoken in favor of the resolution, and pledges to follow it if passed. (His opponent, Jake Wilson, opposes the resolution.)

Join us on Tuesday at 7pm in Porter Square for What Comes After Ceasefire Part 2 community night & potluck, where we will have opportunities to emotionally process and think through what a thriving future for all actually means.
News of the ceasefire in Gaza has brought us both relief for the ending of hostilities but also worry for what the future will look like. Join us for What Comes After Ceasefire Part 2 community night & potluck, where we will have opportunities to emotionally process and think through what a thriving future for all actually means. This community night is the second part of a previous community night where we went in depth on what solutions are currently on the table, and grounded ourselves in the history and political reality of various solutions and global agreements. Those resources will still be available at this community night, but the focus will be on creative conversations on what an ideal future looks like in historic Israel/Palestine.
This Thursday, bring your questions, anger, grief, fears, & hopes to a post-election Community Night.
After a potluck, we'll have breakouts to process our emotions & discuss how Jews have responded to governments they live under, from ancient rabbis to today.
RSVP for location: https://innmvmt.org/Bos11-21
Bring your questions, anger, grief, fears, and hopes to this post- presidential election community night. We will have a potluck from 6:30-7 and then breakouts until 8:30: a discussion of texts on how Jews have responded to the governments they live under, from ancient rabbis to today, as well as open emotional processing. Location sent out after RSVP.
Fascism wants us isolated and intimidated. We fight back by joining in community, love, and solidarity.

On October 7, 2024, over 500 Jews and allies gathered in Boston to mourn and bear witness to the slaughter of the past year.
It didn’t have to be this way. It still doesn’t.
There is a world where we don’t have to watch the news in a state of panic. Where children in Israel, Palestine, and Lebanon can grow up with their families in peace and safety.
Where our governments don’t slaughter innocents. Where our politicians can no longer ignore our cries.
