Banner.Tiny human, walks on four legs, with a bottle of the McCallum clutched in its sword side forepaw. Beneath a fauna skin, and concrete. The McCallum likely has a man with sword and target. Start as you mean to go on.
I'm not certain anyone put me off atheism so much as Dawkins.
Apparently The Hu have taken the place in my heart that Leonard Cohen used to occupy.

I really don't like the phrase Christian Taliban. It suggests that somehow religious violence and oppression is some sort of foreign, possibly Islamic, import.

It is not.

Violence and oppression has been Fundamental to many forms of Christianity. Hell, some of us still celebrate the God Damn'd Crusaders, not to mention the religious bigotry of the Puritans, before we even get to the more modern KKK.

The Taliban are upstarts.

Though if I bother to go back for mother's funeral I'm far more likely to colour the hair than remove it. That would be a celebration.

I've agreed to do a talk at the KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm end of May.

For someone who never attended university, it feels extra great to be invited.

Details will follow later.

I think I concluded Dawkins was an idiot in the 90s. At best woolly in the thinking.

The sister, by the gripping paw, was ever a Dawkins style atheist absolutist. That may have contributed to my perspective.

No thanks, not attending the UN open source week in New York in June. Maybe once there's another administration in charge.

"Teach me," the hero said.

"Wait, what?" said the Evil Overlord.

"You're running a huge organisation. How do you align everyone's ideals?"

"You want your allies to share all your ideals?"

"Of course!"

"Well, we don't care about that. We can always betray each other later, after we've won."

I know it's been 8 years since my dad died, because I had to get a passport to fly home for the funeral. It pays to make sure, you know.

Strictly I didn't actually shave my head for the death, but I didn't necessarily let people know that.

I'm kinda wondering if it's time to remove him from my address book, contacts list, and how many other dead people I have still in it.

Listening to Pat Benatar's 1980 Hell is for Children, and wondering why we still don't societally he enraged at people who merely beat the snot out of children.

I'm not really wondering. Kids are either owned or foreign, so it's stuff we can ignore.

Gods I hate this timeline, world, dead end society. It is so fucked up on every scale.
