The web is a tool for human connection that has been hi-jacked by corporations. We've traded our attention for convenience and it feels like the pendulum is starting to swing the other way.
ScalziA year ago we bought a church building in our town to, among other things, be our business headquarters. This year the house next to it came up for sale, so we bought it as well. The house is a bit of a loss, so we'll be bringing it down and in its place we'll (probably, pending feasibility) be putting up a garden in the front, and some off-street parking for the church in the back. I did not plan on becoming a land baron this year, but, well. Here we are.
