I think the keycap design of the current #System76 Launch keyboard is not a good #UX. The shifted keys at the same vertical position as the normal layer is confusing to know which key is emitted. Those that use left-to-right writing, it can be assumed that the left symbol is what is entered rather than from right-to-left. For example, with "! 1", "1" is typed normally. This may seem obvious to most of us as we're used to this expectation but the keycaps' designs may suggest otherwise.

Can we stop calling Free Software projects "alternatives" to proprietary software? Call them something nicer like another "option" because it just sounds like a compromise solution and diminishes fantastic software out there. Like, I don't hear OBS called an "alternative" to XSplit. "Alternative" evokes an image of inferiority.
