Here we go again...

I'm River, and I've booped around a few places here on the fediverse, currently hanging out with my friends @tiefling  and @VulpineDruid  to chat about stuff and things.

I've been gaming since the heady days of OG #BaldursGate, and am currently obsessed with #BaldursGate3 and #DragonAge #TheVeilguard.

When I'm not gaming, I'm an academic #librarian, a practicing #witch and #Selunite, an occasional #writer and #poet and a general all-round nerdy type.

I'm also queer and trans, so I will post about #LGBTQ stuff, but I will content warn anything political.

I finally overcame my art block/anxiety, and finished my first illustration of 2025. 🤍

I have been working on getting back up on my feet after a long bout of depression and burnout for over a year now. Last May, I started my artist newsletter for accountability. With others joining me in my journey, I no longer felt alone! I was able to slowly dig through the messy parts of my brain and find the artist I knew was still there, somewhere.
