Nina Röckelein@vicgrinberg I would put a large patch of a similar texture over or under it and run a #sashiko stitch over the whole size of the patch (or even an area larger than the patch).
The stitch is just a very simple running stitch

By starting the rows like this

and then adding orthogonal rows of stitches, nice patterns emerge.

Nachdem Mamas Stopfgarn nicht mit der Belastung klar kam (Pilling bis Fadenbruch), nochmal neues (unauffälliges) #visiblemending mit einem festeren und farblich passenden Jersey und Garn von der Schwiegermutter in DDR-Qualität.
Was tut man nicht alles für Lieblingshosen …

Duck Marshall 🚲@writerethink because of how large the thinned area is, I'd be inclined to patch it. If you're keen on #visiblemending then a contrast colour swatch on the inside and #sashiko to hold it all together. Otherwise I'd suggest using your leftover fabric to fully cover the thinned area and just stitch it down at the edges.
I AndanomOch plötsligt var det vår och varmt och shortsen skulle fram! Jag har ett par linneshorts, 3/4 byxor som jag älskar, men som vid en liten olycka för några år sedan fick ett hål vid knät. Det har av någon anledning tagit emot lite att laga det, kanske för att det påminner mig om skadan i knät som jag helst vill glömma.
Men hursom, nu var det varmt ute och shortsen behövdes lagas lite snabbt...
Lite snabbt... är kanske inte rätt ord. Det är varken litet (hålet är tumnagel stort och lappen 10x10 cm) eller snabbt, men bra blev det.
Från och med nu är detta ett boro- projekt där det kommer att komma fler lappar.

From now on, this is a boro project, and more patches will be added.
