Algunas verdades que hay que empezar a aceptar:
Problemas sistémicos requieren soluciones sistémicas.
Los avances tecnológicos no arreglarán los problemas sociales, solo los avances sociales podrán arreglarlos.
No son los hábitos de consumo lo que hace el modelo de producción, es el modelo de producción el que hace los hábitos de consumo.
Vaya, quién iba a imaginar que el "homeschooling", esto es, lo de educar a tus hijos en tu casa porque el sistema público de educación "los adoctrina", ese sistema tan defendido y cacareado por nuestros lüberalles patrios, acabaría dando pie a una red de miles de padres educando a sus hijos en la ideología nazi:

Tenemos que votar. Tenemos que votar con la misma poca vergüenza que vota la derecha. Sin remilgo, sin pensárnoslo, salga la noticia que salga. Aunque hagan cosas mal, aunque no te convenza... es el mal menor. Si no votamos, mandarán ellos y nos quitarán todos los derechos.
Porque siempre es mejor que haya una izquierda mandando que una derecha. Aunque nos enfademos igual porque sean tibios, o después nos mientan. La derecha sigue votando aunque roben, aunque se suban los sueldos, aunque les quiten derechos. Pues debemos hacer igual: votar, votar, votar por salvar lo que hemos conseguido.

If we ever aspire to become a serious alternative to corporate platforms we can't continue with this behavior. Let me explain.
Two days ago someone created a "The_Donald" community of a well-known #Lemmy instance. Immediately there were cries for defederation, blocking, and suspicion about the admin letting racists run rampant on his instance.
Ultimately when the admin logged in they removed that community. But before they even had time to realize what was happening they were already being accused of stuff and if any instance heeded the call to block, it would have caused damage to the users who would have their subscriptions / follows severed.
Some users who've just arrived from Reddit and bring a fresh perspective are already wary of the shit show this can become.
That instance resisted massive blocks because it was large enough. But what if it was smaller? >>
