@klaushipp Way more knowledgeable folks out there than me that can weigh in on this… but I repurposed a bunch of old enterprise gear in 2019 and started with #unraid and have loved every second of it. The Serverbuilds.net forums and Discord community have been massively helpful, as well as videos by ibracorp.io and SpaceInvader One on YouTube!
@skerit what’s your issue with a usb stick? It’s backed up in the unraid cloud and you can buy a slimline usb thumb drive that would essentially be invisible.
@perry_mitchell u for sure want Plex using the GPU for encoding. I have all my videos stored on Unraid and it works beautifully. Use m2 or ssd for the OS on Plex box
