Sleeping in a tent in nature is always a good idea until you actually do it (I accidentally knocked over the tent pole that was holding up my ultralight backpacking tent, in my sleep, and my CPAP machine humidifier turned into cold condensation in my nose at 3am, and there were packs of coyotes howling!) but.. I’m always glad to do it.

New 266km #bikepacking route around the #Cairngorms National Park, starting at #Aviemore railway station. It follows the Old Logging Way and then takes in the #SpeysideWay, The #CateranWay, The #DeesideTrail, Sustrans National Route 7, and a whole lot of incredible Scottish wilderness before finishing back in Aviemore again.

This looks a cracking weekend trip and I'm adding it to my wishlist! ♥️

The tent is the Big Agnes Copper Spur bike pack 2 per. Yes, I took a chair 😆 !! That explains why I got so knackered on my mountain bike on the #SouthDownsWay

I always overpack but I like to sit and be comfortable
