Packraft-kausi alkoi tänään vähän erikoisemmin:
Hacklabin kanavalla eräällä hakkeriveljellä oli RC-lennokki pudonnut jäihin Rosendahlin edustalla ja kaipasi apua. Pistettiin sitten pelastusoperaatio käyntiin.
Kuivapuku päälle ja lennokkia hakemaan. Oli aikamoinen jumppa, mutta operaatio onnistui ongelmitta ja elektroniikatkin säilyi ehjinä.
Tollasessa jääsohjossa on muuten tosi raskasta soutaa. Siitä ei mene mela läpi vaikka näyttää nestemäiseltä.

Hike in was hard. Paddle was hard, so much wind. Huge rain storm overnight. But, everything held up, including me more or less.
I’m starting prep for my first solo backpacking trip of the year. One night, 4 km on foot, 2 km on raft. Weather is going to be 28C, with possible rain. Not ideal…
