After 7 yrs organizing the Chicago UX Book Club, I stepped away & refocused my personal time on reading for fun. This year, I’m resolving to use more work time for professional reading. Excited to dive into Alex Schmidt’s Deliberate Intervention as my first book of 2023!

@itsmistermoon @unknownwoman Definitely seems like a big moment in time for this community! I’m conscious of the growing pains this huge influx is creating and so far I’m just glad to know there are alternatives to explore. But it would be great if this growth also encourages updates too :)

This #project examines the #design and #engineering of #HearingAids , from aesthetics of 20th century devices, to new prototypes that attempt to redesign how we think of #deafness, and deaf/tech collaborations.
