GameDev working on Cyber Aces - story driven hack n slash ARPG
- DMC + DW + GetAmped inspired combat
- Social Sim Element inspired by TLOH + Persona

Enhancing swapping so the players can perform next action move smoother. The swap and the command input will not be rejected when it is not possible to swap, but instead be delayed.

I spent this week finishing the core system for collecting items and doing some optimization to handle many enemies.

Also started to implement another skills and moves as I want to test the management system later on.

One of my progress this week is the item drop system (WIP). Spent most of my time working on the core which is not yet finish, so I haven't really though that much about the visual.

This year I only worked on combat system so it's still a long journey.

For next year, I plan to have a steam page and public play test. Hopefully it will be realized.

I implemented the core of the result system for story mission and boss rush. Reward points are used to upgrade the characters and companion. Rewards are proportional to the player's performance in game.

Aside of that, I upgrade the project to 5.1 and the FPS drops significantly after migration due to Lumen. It was back to normal after I update my driver 😄

Implementing status effect resistance mechanism to make some fight more challenging. For example, the BEAST boss has resistance against paralyze status effect, so it won't be affected by the shock trap
