@hukl 100% agree on your observations. Not sure if it’s because men apparently prefer to strive for individual power instead of social wellbeing or harmony (subjectively women would rather take a personal disadvantage if it helps the greater good). That’s also of course a special case of empathy or at least very closely connected. Or if it is more naturalistic, because women bear children and have an intrinsic motivation for harmonic environments?

@geomannie @343max I do cycle to work (well, to the train station in a larger town, that is) and I‘m glad to read that my cancer risk is, statistically speaking, reduced by far.
Subjectively however my biggest risk on my commute are… cars. Bored and smartphone-distracted drivers steering a 2 ton steel machine every day on their way to work are close to seriously harming me almost every single day.

@Emperohr In so Situationen spreche ich immer nur noch die Kinder an. Bei Erwachsenen ist das m.E. sinnlos - wenn sie für Argumente empfänglich wären, hätten sie es ja vermutlich selbst festgestellt, dass da was nicht gut läuft. Die Kleinen sind ggf. noch zugänglicher.
