The SVB collapse is very sad for a lot of good companies and their employees, but goddamn if it isn't hilarious to witness the "libertarians" of the VC world suddenly clamour for socialism...in response to a bank run they actually orchestrated 😆

Nerd hobby updates continue because for some lucky reason, I have the week off!
First forays into painting my freshly printed #miniatures would have gone a lot smoother had I, ya know, watched a tutorial or something. Don't be like me.
I had some slow drying golden open acrylics and medium around which I like to use give me working time, but were just too damn slow to work with for the minis. Next time: gonna use a wet palette for the #miniaturepainting

Now to figure out how painting works
Achieved somewhat of a successful test print after the first one was a glorious fuckery (protip: remove protective films from your printer before using 😬)
So obviously the next step is to try a complex 4 hour build!
New #3dprinter has been set up temporarily on the craft desk, is leveled, etc. I will do a test print but I'm guessing this probably isn't the *best* place for it to live long term. A) Because I'm clumsy AF and I guarantee there's gonna be a messy resin accident at some point... And B) because my craft room is also a sun room filled with windows and gets ALL THE UV during the day.
The garage or basement is probably a better choice, but I am loathe to move it there because cold AF New England winters 😭
