Fread can also remember your timeline position. In Settings, you can choose whether the timeline always jumps to the latest posts or stays where you left off.

You can double-tap the top or bottom bar to quickly scroll back to the top, and tap the refresh button in the top right to jump straight to the newest posts.

Material Design 3 separates the Top Bar and Bottom Bar from the content using different tonal values to indicate hierarchy.

In practice, this distinction often feels too subtle and visually unclear.

In Fread’s current UI redesign, one key change is adding a subtle Gaussian blur background to the Top Bar and Bottom Bar to create clearer separation from the content. Users can disable this if they prefer.

@fread Recently, Fread has been experiencing some strange crash logs, which seem to be due to pop-up windows, but I have never been able to reproduce the issue. Has anyone else encountered this? Any clues are welcome.
