"There is no longer a need to enter into a forest or go to the shore to find an object that connects practitioners to Mother Nature. Instead, the object can be sent right to individuals’ homes."
Practitioners of Pagan religions no longer need to go into a forest to find an object for their altars. Commercialization has meant that sacred objects are available online.
“What is the function of Species X?” Is a question I hear often from non-biologists.
But it’s hard to answer. Species don’t exist to serve a function. They exist because they can. Everything is just trying to find a way to be.
Husband 1.0 could never understand the criteria by which I decide what is edible on any particular day, but it's simple really. Every food gets a 1-5 rating.
1 - WILL NOT EAT
2 - Edible under duress
3 - Happy to eat
4 - Enjoy eating
5 - Will eat under any circumstances
The higher my level of emotional distress, the higher the rating of foodstuffs required for me to eat.
Simples!
