For most of my adult life I've turned down most store points/loyalty cards because "I don't want to be tracked."

But I'm starting to change my mind. Companies are tracking us anyway. Even if I don't swipe a points card at the POS, they're still correlating my purchases via my debit/credit card & probably by my cellphone entering the store if not facial recognition via the cameras.

Why leave money on the table??

Consider this without a profit seeking bias. Should it be the manufacturers \ retailers responsibility to produce \ sell products that don't pollute the environment (I.e., aiming for best practice), or "the consumers" responsibility to "shop around" for them, & hope they're not being #GreenWashed?
