@firda Followers migrate with you - https://docs.joinmastodon.org/user/moving/#move : both mastodon.social and universeodon.com run the same version of the same software so there shouldn't be any problems. I'm not sure if people you follow are copied over, but you could do an export https://docs.joinmastodon.org/user/moving/#export and reimport on the new server. Toots/Posts do NOT copy over though and cannot be imported in.

How to change Mastodon server?

Now let's learn how to change Mastodon server together. Are you having trouble switching Mastodon servers and are unsure on

TechBriefly
Thinking of moving to universeodon to spread the server load a little bit within the Fediverse. I might just do it today. I don't mind sharing a server with George Takei, haha! My only concern is I can't bring my followers over. πŸ˜•

I've seen some #Introduction posts with a list of five #videogames. I don't really play videogames because my hand-eye coordination is garbage and I can't use a game controller to save my life, but I do enjoy the odd online games every now and then. Here are some I've enjoyed since the turn of the century:

1. GROW Games (2002)
2. Rocket Mania! (2003)
3. Yeti Sports (2004)
4. Flappy Bird (2013)
5. 2048 (2014)

The big gap between 2004 and 2013 was mostly filled with various Wii! Sports games. 🀣

Fisgard Lighthouse, the first lighthouse on the west coast of Canada, is my favourite of all the lighthouses in Canada that I've ever been to. It was built in 1860 and is located in Vancouver Island, a relatively short drive away from downtown Victoria. We visited it in 2007. 15 years ago already. Wow. Haven't been to the BC coast since. We prefer the East coast.

I don't know if anyone else gets anxious about phone calls but a little tip I've learned is: if there is a phone call that I don't want to make, before I start dialing the number, I carefully hold the phone in my hand & toss it gently into a lake. I hope this advice helps others.

#ThrowbackThursday to the day I saw a red fox in the wild for the very first time. Foxes are not very prominent figures in Canada, especially when compared to the UK when you can spot them fairly easily even in big cities like London. Here, the urban settings are dominated by trash pandas (raccoons). πŸ™„

Anyway, I didn't have a zoom lens handy (I have a fixed, pancake lens on my camera 90% of the time) but I think the photo still turned up okay.

Give her what she really wants this holiday season. Death to the patriarchy, an ancient tome of curses from the forest witch, the hearts of her enemies, and deep pockets in every dress and pair of pants.

Any interest in #DonkeysofMastodon? This is Solo. Solo passed away in 2012 at age 25. He was one of the residents of the Donkey Sanctuary of Canada, a great place to visit if you're into cute donkeys and mules.

I took this photo with a vintage Brownie Hawkeye Flash box camera from the 50's. Anyone have one of those?
