New instance, so here's an intro!

I make nostalgic fantasy #synth music, that reminds some people of 90s video game music. Atm I'm also part of the live lineup for 1980 AD, playing synth and singing backing vocals.

I love #films and prefer watching them on film in a #cinema, but any format will do. ❤

Politically left, trying to do my bit in making the future less devastating. Still leaning on hopefulness!

Beginner in #bouldering and interested in #biking, at least in a casual bike trip sort of way.

Into dad jokes!

My #HeroQuest character is the barbarian.

Fast walker, get bored in elevators.

I post mostly in English, but occasionally in Finnish.

What's new:
- Each event has its own page.
- The calendar page shows a condensed version for each event, making it easier to navigate the event list.
- Past event page (from the main calendar page).
- New design: automatic light and dark themes.
- In each event page there's a link to an ICS file to be added to a calendar.

Known issue:
The RSS feed needs to be fixed, but it's almost ready

The new version is almost ready! In about a week or two we'll be able to share it with everybody.
What's done:
- Condensed view to quickly navigate the event list.
- Each event has a different page, useful to share on social media and other platforms.
- Dark/light themes linked to system theme, and improved accessibility (contrast, links).
- RSS feed.
- Social links.
- Past events section.
Almost done:
Github actions workflow.

We are working on an update. Here's a very preliminary video, showing how each event will become a separate post (useful to be shared on various platforms), a 'condensed view' option to easily see more events, a dark mode, a working RSS feed, and social icons. Thanks everybody for your comments!

Only in February there are already 14 events of experimental, improvised, contemporary, etc. sonic events in our calendar. Be aware that this is *for sure* an incomplete list as it's missing Musica nova festival and other events!

Why we have made this calendar?

Because we have felt the need of finding a way to connect our scenes, which at times are so near yet so far. We wanted to find a way to get to know each other, what we are doing, where we are doing it. We wanted to help avoiding overlapping gigs, which is sometimes inevitable, but sometimes caused by not knowing what the others are doing. We also believe non-commercial, experimental music in Finland needs to be more known and considered.
