Ryan Davis' Résumé | |

One of these days I'll be able to call it a curriculum vitae!

Whew, took me a little while to get back to y’all, but I’m so excited to announce my next chapter: taming software deployment through my new company, Miren! It’s gonna be a big project, so I’m thrilled to start with support from BlueYard Capital and Union Square Ventures, enabling us to bring human-centric workflows to a complex domain.

The Start of Something Special

<taps mic> Hey everyone, I’ve got some exciting news to share! After years of dealing with janky dev setups, broken tests, and brittle deployment platforms, I’ve decided to do something about it. We’re calling it Miren, and the vision is to rethink how software is developed, deployed, and managed.</taps>

To all my HashiCorporeals, it’s been a pleasure and a privilege to work with you. You are what made my years at HashiCorp so special for me. Know that the friendships we have forged will endure!
After 8+ years, today is my last day at HashiCorp. All those years ago, Mitchell and Armon took a chance on me and my team, and I can’t thank them enough for doing so. Looking ahead, I’m eager to get back to my roots with something already brewing that I’ll be ready to share with you in the next few weeks!

👋🏻 Hi friends

Do you have any finite contract work that I could do? (nights and weekends)

So I’ve been enjoying freelance life for a full year now: working only with people I heartily enjoy, on projects I find enormously exciting.

Which is why I’m so psyched to tell you about what has finally tempted me to commit to a more lasting thing:

On the heels of our incredible event in the Swiss Alps last June, @paulca, @eamonleonard, and I have formed a non-profit to sustainably support This Next Thing.

I’m delighted to join as its inaugural Executive Director!

Can’t pass up a trip to see Ruby friends in San Diego so I’m headed back to RubyConf this year!

Hope to see you there!

I’m in the market for some ipv4 space, anyone out there have some they’d be willing to sell to a good home? (I know about brokers, reaching out to my tech friends first).
Thinking about a combo B-epsilon tree and Merkle tree. Normal Sunday shit.
Tonight at DNA Lounge I literally saw a one legged man in an ass kicking contest.
