Someone please tell me what the hell happened on Twitter in 2018 that caused so many folks to create a Mastodon account. It’s like there’s some sort of collective gap in everyone’s memory.

Ok, let's try this!

In #Xcode:

1) ⌘⇧T to open new window

2) Move the split view divider of the console up to hide the code

3) Move to separate monitor

I do sincerely hope this will be a good console-on-other-monitor setup. It's the only possibility for Xcode there is

“How do I increase my team’s velocity?”
Write more tests.

“How do I find and fix more bugs?”
Write more tests.

“How can I gauge performance of our code?”
Write more tests.

“How can we better document what our code is supposed to d–“
I feel like you know the answer already.

Wow, installing Ruby from a version manager on an M1 has been so painful.

This last year, I’ve been leading a UI refresh to make Netflix feel more fluid, delightful, and polished.

Today, all that work shipped!

Huge thanks to @nebson and @b3ll for helping bring this to life ❤️

Details below, but try it out yourself!

It has been a blast collaborating with
@janum and
@[email protected] on adding motion, delight, and gestural interactions to bring a more fluid and responsive experience to Netflix on iOS.

I’m excited for you all to try it and let us know what you think! ✨

“Daddy what is this cable?”

“Oh that’s called a parallel cable. A DB-25 if I remember correctly.”

“What do you use it for?”

“Literally nothing.”

“Are you going to throw it away then?”

“Absolutely not.”

Ok, so I'm pretty pissed after reading the latest iOS Dev Weekly.
