It has been a blast collaborating with
@janum and
@[email protected] on adding motion, delight, and gestural interactions to bring a more fluid and responsive experience to Netflix on iOS.

I’m excited for you all to try it and let us know what you think! ✨

@b3ll @janum @_inside Ok wow! I almost never use Netflix on my phone (I’m a millennial so I own a TV lol) but these animations are slick. Beautiful work!
@b3ll @janum Most important question: does it let me go back quickly to the shows I've started watching, or hides the trying to force some new stuff upon me?;)
@janum this is so good. Any plans for a write up on how Netflix designed/implemented it?
@b3ll @janum the animations are interactively interruptible 😭😍👏
@Lapfelix @janum you know it 😉
@b3ll idk but I read this as you saying “oye ya tu sabe’” 😂
@b3ll @janum Looks really great. Will there be a widget for continue playing to put on my iPad Home Screen with this update? That would be a great addition.
@b3ll @janum this interaction design slaps! Great work!
@b3ll @janum I love the new animations, but is there any chance that a setting could be added to skip the “who’s watching” screen and go straight to a specific profile on a per device basis? It’s kind of redundant to bring up every time people open the app on their phones, since those are usually only used by one person.
@janum @b3ll Man, feels waaaaay nicer. Easily the best mobile client of any of the streaming services. Congrats everyone!
@b3ll @janum this is absolutely gorgeous. 😍
IMO the Netflix app has really needed this. Fantastic work.
