#Mastodon user question... I have two accounts on here but haven't really ended up using them for separate things. I'm thinking maybe I should just combine them. If I redirect one to the other, will the account I redirect to keep all its existing posts, follows and followers, while also gaining the follows and followers from the account I redirect from? (I understand I'll lose my posts from the account I redirect from.)

"I'm not supposed to waste time(/money*)" is programming I'm still clawing up at the root. Time is a projection, idleness isn't a sin, stillness is both restorative and generative, change always unfolds at its own pace.

*This is so tied in to the "time is money" paradigm, and the notion that we win at life by maximizing anything we can find a way to atomize and count

This is also connected, for me, to the belief that I should maximize every potential I have to its furthest possible extent, as if there's an obligation that comes with every opportunity. But opportunities are meant to be explored and enjoyed, not made into burdens

buckle up, friendlies, it's story time. this one's for @viv & will probably be a meandering long one:

So. My parents moved to a secluded village-town/hill station in South India around the time my brother & I moved out. And like other hilly regions in that state, there are vast coffee plantations all over. Their place, in fact, is part of a coffee estate/ horticultural zone/ quiet residential area.

A couple of friends & I went down there last year for a small getaway. (contd.)
