@edwardchampion This is something that gets discussed a lot in #ActuallyAutistic circles. It is a source of extreme frustration how often neurotypical society privileges the status of the speaker over the validity of the idea.
Philip O'ConnorThe timing of this #IrishTwitter #TwitterMigration to Mastodon isn't the worst. I've been trying to implement a more relaxed tone in how I communicate. Not sure it always works, but you can only try.

@edintone facebook has its place - discussions can get heated quickly, but at its best it functions like a meta bulletin board with high levels of moderation. I only really use it these days for asking or answering questions on groups
