We are happy to share our survey paper, the first to review the differences between conversational #AI models, such as #ChatGPT, and traditional question-answering systems for #KG. Thanks to my students (Reham Omarand Omij Mangukiya) and Panos Kalnis.
Our survey conducted a comprehensive evaluation, including four real #KGs of different application domains and 450 English questions of various linguistic complexity. Our paper proposes open research opportunities in developing #chatbots for #KGs.

Proud of my student, Hussien Abdallah, for his dedicated work on his PhD. Our paper "Towards a GML-Enabled #Knowledge #Graph Platform" was accepted to #ICDE2023. We propose KGNet, a #graph #ML (GML) enabled RDF engine with GML as a service to automate the #AI pipelines on KG. KGNet automatically trains GNN models based on a given memory or time budget and maintains a #KG based on metadata collected during the training to help the KGNet query optimizer opt for the near-optimal execution plan of GNN-enabled queries on #KGs based on constraints related to model accuracy and inference time.

Hussien Abdallah is an outstanding candidate if you are looking for a research intern with a great experience in #KG, #GNN, sampling techniques, and exceptional programming skills.

Proud of my PhD student, Reham Osama, and my Master's student, Ishika Dhall, for their dedicated work on our paper "KGQAn: A Universal #Question-#Answering Platform for #KGs" which was accepted to #SIGMOD2023. This is their first paper with me and the first SIGMOD paper from my CoDS lab. KGQAn can work as an on-demand service to answer questions from an arbitrary #KG without any pre-processing. This is an excellent collaboration with Panos Kalnis.
