We recognise the cruel reality that many trans people's legal names are deadnames.

@heliotrope hey just a couple notes here about Pantheon, most of the shell components are GTK4 these days (Dock, Notifications, Portals, etc) and we’re Wayland by default. We’ll soon be Wayland-only and the GTK4 port for the top panel is nearly completed

@threatresearch hardware support on MacBooks can be hit or miss, the usual culprits being WiFi and webcam support. You can always try booting into demo mode first and seeing if everything works before installing!

Someone asked me for a refund over this post, so I’d like to make something clear: our community consists of trans and gay and disabled people and people of color and people whose first language is not English and a whole host of other kinds of marginalization and I have no plans to ever stop celebrating that. If that’s a problem for you, I am extremely happy to give you your money back.
