People who are altruistic, humble, and aim to do right by all are also self-reflective, admit to making mistakes, and are willing to learn from them. Society benefits from people like this.
On the other hand, arrogant, self-serving, selfish, know-it-all people who insist their way is the best way are detriments to society.

I cannot say this more clearly: Clarence Thomas should not be trusted to rule impartially on any cases involving Trump's attempted coup.
His wife Ginni Thomas was directly involved in efforts to overturn the 2020 election.
