I guess it’s time for an #introduction post! The story so far:
My work is focussed on the critique of human rights and international law, especially from feminist, queer and postcolonial perspectives. My first monograph was on the European Court of Human Rights: https://www.nomos-elibrary.de/10.5771/9783748925095/european-consensus-between-strategy-and-principle?l=en
One of my favourite topics to rant about is the inflation of human rights, which I think is not something we should be worrying about, see here: https://www.cambridge.org/core/journals/leiden-journal-of-international-law/article/inflation-of-human-rights-a-deconstruction/6F2E581DFB5CFB2D3532F26F3BC05F90
A few weeks ago, I had the wonderful opportunity of talking about the art of the conference presentation for the Academic Skills Circle led by IILAH Uni Melbourne, the UNSW Critique Network, and the La Trobe Law and Humanities Network. I spoke about ways in which we might consider the presentation as a unique genre which offers us different ways of generating connection and translating our work.
The talk is available as a podcast here:

As I stagger to the end of my thesis, here's a video about me explaining my method to my dissertation committee.
This is from two years ago and I can't say things are vastly different now 🤷♂️
