I don’t understand the endgame. Like, it’s AI generated content which costs money, then it’s AI generated replies which costs money. To what, serve ads to bots? 1 in 5, or 10, or 100 visits being a real person?

They’re pouring so much money to make something appear human, thus taking away the things that made social media special (if sometimes problematic), humans.

All right fediverse, I’m usually a lurker round here, but I need some advice. I got a tattoo of JPL’s Perseverance parachute, “Dare Mighty Things” in binary. I modified it to fit on a bicep.

I’m trying to work out a new tattoo with a similar idea, encoding a written message visually. I’m wondering if there are other ways to encode it. It’s twenty characters long, and I’m hoping to have it go the full length of an arm.
