I used to be a mathematician, now I'm a law-talking guy who helps people buy and sell unregistered securities.
With @davidjshipley the @washingtonpost has turned into bizarro world. There is absolutely no proof that we're grossly over-counting #COVID deaths, but the paper under @SallyBuzbee is all-in on this nonsense. WaPo has lost its way on the facts alone. https://bit.ly/3XQ5Mpr
WaPo Feeds Denial With False Claims About Overcounting Covid Deaths - FAIR

Medical commentator Leana Wen wants us to believe that society has overcounted Covid deaths and hospitalizations.

@PalMD Thankfully as I’ve gotten older my migraines have become far more infrequent, but reading about other people’s headache struggles definitely generates some echoes of those pains.
@PalMD I used to average something like a migraine per month. Mine are always preceded by aura, which would be my heads-up I needed to drop what I was doing and get into bed ASAP. Each migraine represented two lost days—the day of the migraine, and the following day where I’d usually only be at 50%. But I was in grad school at the time, and losing 24 days a year is a lot when you need to get that degree done!
@PalMD I think people really underestimate the disruption chronic headaches or migraines have on their lives, simply because they get used to it. Very glad to hear that you found something that works for you.

you ever think about how google will put fake download links to malware above real search results, for money

there's not really any excuse for this at all but they just do it and everyone sort of accepts it

@jonjones @MadMadMadMadRN Hilariously, Twitter now automatically switches me over to “For You” every time I visit the site, no matter how many times I switch it to “Following”.
It’s very funny to me that the dominant Twentieth Century conception of AI was a slightly awkward nerd with an inhuman mastery of facts and logic, when what we actually got is smooth-talking bullshit artists who can’t do eighth-grade math.
