Recent I.T. grad from a polytechnic in western Canada. Big into open source and geeky pursuits. I use Linux (Fedora) as a daily-driver and am comfortable with a command line.

I've also dipped my toes into programming (python, javascript, bash). I prefer hashtags in camel case, 0-based indexes, and hyphens over underscores. I want to learn Golang someday.

Some of my interests:
- the indieweb
- decentralized social-media (the real Web 3.0)
- political philosophy (I took Poli-Sci in school)
- solarpunk (I am into environmentalism)
- selfhosting (e.g. this site/service)

I've heard the term "the right to be forgotten" before and I understand life is all ephemeral, but I'm not sure I'd ever go for this option. Pretty interesting though.

This is the config needed in the fstab file to have a shared folder between a Linux virtual machine and my Windows OS (host).

Now anything I put in Public will show up in my 'VM Shares' folder and vice-versa. No need to copy/cut then paste things now between the two.

I am using an i3 processor on my server which has managed to handle several services and websites at once thus far.

However this is what I saw today while checking resource use. Pretty sure all that was happening was a lot of writing to databases from syncing messages.
